should have really stopped a long time ago, altho i cant help myself :(

doing bicep curls absolutely kills my wrists, but i cant stop doing it

today i went a bit mental and now my wrist absolutely kills and i cant move in 100% what an idiot lol

just a quick one, anyone recommend any wrist support gloves/straps? something cheap if possible, already tried a leather wristband sort of thing but it didnt cover the area that was in pain which is the bit between your hand and arm :D anyway, got it in a bandage for now which seems to be helping :( still hurts tho

if i continue after its healed with a wrist support will it help much ?

that picture was me earlier :D

its always happened to me, even on 8kg, now im upto a more respectable weight, obviously the pressures increased even more :(

any idea how to bulken wrists? i think its because my biceps are huge and can lift a lot yet my wrists have remained quite skinny, ive done a fair few 'dumbell rolls' or whatever there called from time to time but dont really seem to grow :(? :S

I have a problem with my right wrist, ganglion cycst, but instead of using a straight bar I use the E-Z bar as it has the curves in it, having my hand at a slant doesn't give me wrist pain at all, works great.

a mix

sometimes dumbells

sometimes... a dumbell curling machine (not too sure what its called ? :S think thats the one that did the damage tho!)
Lucky for you imho.

Machines are generally very bad. The only machines I ever use are the pulleys for things like lat pulldowns. Everything else is better done free-weights in most cases.

Definately stay away from curling machines! The problems arise as machines tend to make your body/muscles/tendons/joints follow an unnatural path and this can lead to injury, as you've just discovered.

Stick to DB's for ultimate safety, though barbells are great for adding mass some people can't use them (myself included) I have to use an EZ-Curl Bar instead otherwise I get forearm problems.

It's a guess really, it's just that he said bicep curls (afaik you do them with dumbbells not barbells), and also I have the same problem and only do dumbbells. :)
You're either using too much weight, terrible form or you have a more serious problem and should see a doctor or specialist.

Probably my form. My muscles are pretty big still as I used to do weights a while ago. Gonna go youtube bicep curls in a minute...
