Tempted to get this, i really enjoyed the first anno 1404 i think it was called.
Does seem like the on sale price has doubled. The complete (but will it be) edition is currently £60 on gamersgate. Wouldn't be surprised if they announced a season 4. If you've not played it, 2070 is good and the complete edition is under £6 on gamersgate - might be cheaper elsewhere, not checked. Also got the 1404 history edition for around the same. This game is pretty old now, why is it still so damn expensive?
Might have to look at this one again, did enjoy it when it first came out but was one of the few games that really started to make my 9900k struggle with so much stuff going on.
I'm more surprised by the memory usage than the CPU load....
Not played it for a while but one thing I made a mistake with is only building a few houses for what is required, seems you have to build a lot so you have excess for workers and taxes etcFirst game didn't go too well. I kept getting messages about worker shortage (farmers?) and had no lumber to build any more farms. So I quit as I couldn't figure out how to get more lumber.

What’s the cheapest way to get this? I didn’t get to play much over the free weekend but I am keen on it.
This is why 32GB should be deemed standard for gaming PC’s nowI'm more surprised by the memory usage than the CPU load....
There are a couple of key sites where it’s £14 or Ubisoft Store is £16.
