Afternoon fellow overclockers members! Was wondering if your expertise could help me out? I've got a Belkin F5D7231-4 wireless router setup, connected to a 4Mb Virgin Media connection. I've got the Belkin connected to a switch in my room so that I can have my Xbox 360 and my PC connected to it without having to run 2 wires down to the living room. Now this router seems to randomly disconnect me from the network and I cannot figure out why it does this, it seems to happen more often if I am downloading torrents and this means that I have to turn off the router and turn it back on again before it will then let me connect. Any ideas guys? Please note: this router has the default firmware on it, but in the last house I was in we also had this router and it was updated to the latest firmware I believe, although I had no control over that particular router.
Thanks for any help :p

Your torrent client is opening more connections than the router can handle. There will be a setting to reduce that.

Hello again people! I know this is a fairly old thread now but this problem is still happening, now I've changed the max number of connectiong in utorrent down to 25 and then to 10 with no luck, it's just dropped me from the network again and I wasn't downloading anything, just had MSN messenger open and was playing Eve online. Any other suggestions?
