Annoyed!

Ok, i'm very annoyed right at this moment. Someone off my course was around yesterday and he kept resting his foot on my case, which I kept telling him not to. I've just gone to put a CD in my cd-rom drive and as I opened the front door, the door fell to floor.

The swine's broken the hinges which the door connects to!

It never was a sturdy case to begin with, but i'm still really annoyed! What ever happened to people showing respect for other people's things?

It's not all bad I guess, I was planning on getting a new case in the near future anyway. But, now I've got to put up with a broken door for about 2 months!

Only just noticed it because when I opened the door, it just fell off.

The case was just a quick one I got to build my computer with. The plan was always to get a new, better one.

The case is a Casecom KG-666 (http://www.xitac.nl/applications/CatalogManager/images/p_c666s.JPG). Only cost me £20 at the time, so not that bad. Looks fancy, pretty crap really.

When I have money to blow again, i'm heading straight for a new case and a new PSU.

That's the plan. Although, i'm eyeing up some attractive Thermaltake ATM.

Bah thermaltake would not survive that punishment either.

Lian Li all the way, would handle it and then some.

Anyway, that is not on, take a picture on your phone and give him a earfull!

Yeah, I've like the look of the Thermaltake ones, the VA3000SNA Tsunami Dream SuperMidi Aluminium Tower - Silver (CA-013-TT) catches my eye in particular but i'm not too sure about getting one as they're generally not considered to be very good.

I've started looking at the Lian-Li ones, but they look slightly dull. Has anyone got any close up images of the PC-7 or PC-60 so I can try and get an idea of what it looks like. Are there case windows available for the lian-li models?

He did stop to begin with, but I did see him put his foot on it again, then move it when he saw me looking. I've got a sneaky feeling he did it when I was out of my room, scanning something on my flatmates computer.

Yewen, do you have a picture of the front?

I quite like the idea of keeping the case flush, by buying some CD/DVD bezels, but my roms are silver anyway and one of them has a round button, not a rectangular one you need for the bezel. I'm also considering getting a Coolermaster AerogateFan Controller (link) .
