stoke on trent
just brought a roccat xtd from clockers to find its £20 cheaper at a store ive allways thought was dear, i think ive just come to rely on overclokers being the cheapest guess times are changing.

Well it's not really there fault.

I buy a lot from Overclockers.

But I always check other stores on there prices also. So it's down to you to check first before making any purchases.

yer i agree im the only one to blame. ive brought from overclockers since it was millienium computers just saying i got too used to them being the same price or cheaper than any where else.

Good thing you didn't use the 7 day distance selling regs thing to send it back in order to buy it from the other place. That would have been naughty.

On the odd occasion when i have bothered to shop around and found something cheaper OCUK has price matched it for me anyway. I prefer to deal with OCUK as i know the customer service is bang on should i have an issue and normally the price difference is so small it's not been worth going elsewhere for what i have wanted.

And as far as i am aware OCUK deal directkly with ROCCAT warranties which is a plus.

Some things are more pricey with OCUK and shipping is well pricey !

but i use them because the customer service is top notch, especially if you have an issue and need to return anything

They can't be the cheapest for everything!

I am a big fan of Overclockers but always check around.

If a product was £200 but is £150 today on a 'WTFOMG awesome deal', it could be £120 normally elsewhere, which is unlikely but you always must shop around or how else do you know your purchase is a well priced one.

I will admit I found my XTD cheaper on the high street, but as someone mentioned above, they can't be cheaper for everything, But I'd still wouldn't mind paying that price from OcUK as I know I'd get excellent customer service from them if something did go wrong.

btw enjoy the XTD, fantastic mouse i'm loving mine. :D

Why do you keep saying brought?

Don't be that guy.

And how can you guys like Roccat Mice? I bought one the other day, the Kone Pure Optical. It went straight back. Nearly all of their mice have a SILLY soft touch coating on it which, unless your hands are sticky or sweaty will be slippery as hell.

If you wash your hands, dry them, sit down and use your mouse, you're going to have to hope your hands sweat quick enough to be able to pick the thing up to reposition it.

If all Roccat mice had rubber over them or textured rubber side grips (like the Sharkoon Fireglider has), then they'd be great for both dry handed players and sweaty-handed folk.

My hands aren't exactly sweaty, but they're not exactly bone dry either, so I ended up struggling with the Kone Pure Optical. They've put too much emphasis on looks tbh, an some of their mice have 90°c rotated sensors.
