Have tried connecting my Sony HTDDW880 to my PC. I have three 3.5mm to 2 x RCA cables to link them. Am having issues with getting the correct channel to each speaker. The holes on my sound card are not marked and the cables seem incorrectly marked, making the process complicated. If I could use a software programme that produced a sound isolated to each speaker in my 6.1 setup, one at a time, I could easily get them all connected properly. Does such a programme exist and if so please link me?
Secondly, is there a way I can test the polarity of each of the wires for each speaker cable? My cables are not marked, and I cannot trace them from the speakers to the amp. So I need a way of testing them, not just using my ears to judge sound quality.
