Annoying Adobe PDF Viewer...

How do I get rid of this (The rubbish in the bottom right)? It is really annoying!

If I can't get rid of it... How do I disable Adobe as the default PDF viewer in safari?

Any help appreciated!

Right click a pdf document, get info, open with preview, change all. Displays normally in Safari.

Preview app. is the default for pdf documents but adobe is still used in safari... Driving me crackers as it isn't as good as preview

Then why not uninstall adobe I hear you say... Well Its nice to use and have when not viewing .pdfs in safari.

Can't you just delete the internet plugin from /library/internet-plugins/ ?

No idea what the problem is. I too have Adobe Reader installed but it's not set to be used in Safari. If you carried out what I said, Preview will take care of pdf's within Safari. Any complex pdf's can be manually downloaded and viewed in Adobe Reader.

Plus will all the past security issues with pdf's in Adobe Reader through Safari, it's been safer to use Preview through Safari.

Why not just disable plugins from the Safari preferences? I done this once with Adobe Reader and future updates started having problems from removing the plugin.
