Annoying FF 2.0 Problem

Whichever theme I have installed my browser appears to always load up with the "Navigation Bar" enabled.

If i disable this and restart FF, it comes back !

I dont want to recreate my profile If I can get away with it. Anyone seen this before ?

Localstore.rdf perhaps?

You don't need to "rebuild" your profile to know anyway - it's not that hard to switch between them.

another annoyance that i felt didn't deserve its own thread is that i can't seem to rmember how to get it so that the tabs bard at the top has a open new tab button, the only way i can get it to is by double clicking the tabs bar which is annoying when i got a lot of tabs open

not good enough, want just a one click button that will open a new tab like i had in 1.5, surely this must still be there i just annoyling can't find it atm

ok then. right click anywhere on one of the bars and choose 'customise'. find the 'new tab' icon, drag it on to one of the FF bars and job done. easy.

ah genious, although i would prefer the old method if its still avbaiable? this is a good alternative

An example would be useful, given the only add new tab button in 1.5.0.x I can remember is the one that's already been suggested.

there was another that was to the left of the open tabs bar, it was a bit bigger then a favicon. I've tried to searching through my old posts and i can't seem to find it where someone posted how to do it in FF 1.5.

the one suggested above, or ctrl + T works fine so thanks.

Good call - what I always do. Doesn't work in a .pdf file tab though.

tabbrowser preferences has a new tab button on the left of the tabs

sounds a lot like tabmixplus from what i've read, but i've always used this, works well for me
