I've just updated my dads computer to Firefox 3 and its started getting a really annoying popup. Everytime I click a link the network connections popup appears asking what connection i'd like to use. I'm using my home wifi connection and that's working fine. As soon as I click close the browser loads the webpage.

I'm close to the router and the signal strength is very good. All the other programs can use the internet perfectly but just not firefox. I've tried going back to firefox 2 but I can't find a download link...

Any help appreachiated!

Got a screenshot? Never heard of that happening, and I'd doubt it's something specific to Fx3.

I dunno where it is on the site, but you can download 2.0.0.14 from the FTP here.

That's the pop up that appears. I'm just browsing on a standard home wifi and not using the 3usb modem at the moment. As soon as I click close the browser follows the link I clicked and opens up the webpage no problem.

This isn't happening in IE at all and only happens in firefox now i've upgraded to 3.

I just tried that link but it wouldn't give me access...

Hm yeah, the FTP's got something wrong with it...this definitely works.

That box is a Vista thing. I guess it thinks you're not connected already

Cheers for the link.

I guess your right about it thinking i'm not already connected to the net. But the problem only occurs with FF3, nothing else. It's very strange!
