Annoying firefox problem

Hi,

I've got a problem with firefox which is driving me mad. When the browser is closed and i click on a web link (in a different application for example) firefox just opens to a new tab screen. Completely blank. It doesn't even try to load the page. I have to click on the web link again with firefox open in order to get the page to open.

Hope that makes sense.

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried resetting Firefox to default settings? Backup your profile first though, then give it a whirl.

I would uninstall Firefox,run Sytem Ninja junk cleaner then reinstall Firefox and see if that clears it up.

Thanks for the replies. It turned out to be one of my addons. Weird but i've disabled it now and all it working OK.

Which addon, out of interest? OcUK is always highly ranked on Google and there's nothing more frustrating than Googling your problem and only finding pages of 'Sorted it, thanks.' with no solution!
