Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me out as I am pulling my hair out over this one. Firstly, I decided to upgrade my graphics card. My old 9400GT served me well but was struggling with different games. I bought an ATI Radeon 5670 1gb GDDR5 card and received it yesterday. Having installed the card and updated drivers everything worked well and the graphics were brilliant but then the games started crashing, black screen so had to reboot the pc. The colours now are way off. The desktop, media player etc have perfect colour contrast but in game colour is awful. Everything in game is different shades of black and white, there is no colour apart from bright red that is shown. Everything has a red tinge to it, nothing else. This happens to all the games I’m playing. I tried different solutions like reinstalling the drivers but the problem persists. Below is my spec
PC SPEC (specInfo)
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 Processor
MB: ASRock (K10N78M)
RAM: 2047mb
HDD: 465gb (STM3500418AS ATA Device)
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5670
Sound: SB Live! 24-bit
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (7600)
Scr:
Generic PnP Monitor
I have a feeling the card is faulty, no matter how many options i go into it doesnt alleviate the problem. I've even removed the card and refitted it just in the hope that it may have cured it, but still no hope.
**Edit** I ran a game in windowed mode and it seemed to cure it but want to cure it so it works in full screen mode.
Thanks
