annoying internet explorer problem

everytime i open IE or click a link which opens a new window, its not maximised, i keep going top right to click x and closing the window behind it, this is really annoying.

is there a way to make it maximise all the time automatically ??

a couple of friends have the same problem!!!

OPen IE, Maximise the window, then hold SHIFT and close the window again.

This should force it to start maximised.

Try dragging the window to the required size then closing it rather than simply maximising the window.It's the only way I've got it to work.
