Annoying issue with Logi G635 headset

Ok, so I bought a set of these recently, and have encountered a bit of a bizarre issue, whereby depending on how they're installed, I get differing functionallity...

If I purge everything, drivers, registry etc, i.e. completely clean, and plug them in, the Logi app installs drivers, surround works but they show as "Not connected" in the app.

If I manually install the drivers, they show up correctly in the Logi app but the surround does NOT work.

I'd like both please, any ideas? I've googled and tried a lot of stuff, but I'm going round in circles...

When g hub installs the drivers but then shows them as not connected have you tried restarting the pc? G hub app is utter dung btw, randomly will do that with my G935s, I’ll hear a beep and then the app says they aren’t connected. If I close the app and reopen it then it just hangs trying to load up so I have to restart the pc. The joys of proprietary software I guess. cant really suggest much else I’m afraid. Maybe raise a support ticket with logitech, they’re pretty quick at getting back to you normally.

Yeah, tried all teh basic, go-to stuff, removing, re-installing, rebooting etc, it's not exactly impacting my enjoyment of them, but I can't alter equalizers etc :( I've tried a ticket with Logi direct but got no repsonse, possibly CV-19 related staffing issues, I'll try again :)

Guessing you’ve tried a couple of different versions of g hub?
