Despite having an ok build featuring an RTX 4070 graphics card, 32GB of RAM, and an Intel i9 processor running at 3.50GHz, I am facing persistent performance problems that affect my multitasking capabilities.
Specifically, when gaming on my 4K monitor, which serves as my primary display, any video or content I play on my secondary 1080p monitor lags or buffers. This issue occurs regardless of the platform or website being used. In addition, I have encountered significant delays when using the Steam overlay in games. For example,, attempting to view another player’s profile takes approximately three to five minutes to load.
To resolve these issues, I have tried several measures, including reinstalling Windows 11, ensuring all drivers are up to date, and using NVIDIA Profile Inspector to adjust the Multi Display GPU Acceleration setting to Multi Display Performance Mode. Unfortunately, these steps have not resolved the problem.
If anyone has anything else I could try out please let me know.
Thanks!
