Annoying monitor ICC profile problem

So I had a windows 10 update this morning and for some reason it has messed up my monitor colour. For example, I put a ICC profile on and when I start a game the colour goes bright and resets something.

Every time I start a game it seems really bright now and it's really annoying. Whats going on?

I've had a few users report this behaviour with the 'Creators Update'. All I can suggest is running the game in borderless window rather than fullscreen if there is an option.

It's so annoying. Even my in-game looks a different colour, ugh.

I had the same problem with my ultrawide 29 lg. I found out that if i installed the monitor drivers, it also installed automatically an icc profile that would make everything from desktop to games REALLY dark. But if i tried the game in borderless window the issue would go away.

Try checking if you have the monitor driver installed and remove it or if not uninstall windows driver anyway and restart, let windows install the monitor by default. See if this helps.
