Hey guys,

Recently (After sorting out my external cable management) I have felt a lot of 'Weight' on the mouse cord. The cord is too long basically and tends to make the mouse move towards the back of the desk.

I know Razer do a cable management kind of block? Can't remember the name but I remember it being extremely expensive what was for just a lump of metal.

Can anyone recommend something I can buy/do to stop that extra weight of the slack...Its really putting my aim out in FPS and actually giving me slight hand ache.

Any suggestions welcome! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem.

Cheers!

get however much you need then put a wod of blue tac on the back of your desk maybe? cheap alternative to buying something specifically

Unfortunately my desk is quite shallow and I can't really get the extra slack I need (Speakers/AmBX kit is in the way).

I'd use the blue tack/sellotape method but I'd like something more substantial. I fear both of those will become dry and stop working!

The mouse cord bungee is a great idea but I'm pushed for space and the blue lights and price have put me off!

This is what I was referring to... http://eu.razerzone.com/gaming-accessories/razer-armadillo/

Does anyone know of something similar?

I suppose its really a question of how hightech/rich you are, spending money on something which is going to perform better and look cool or just bodging it for a quid or less with blue tac or sellotape

I used to just use a strip of gaffer tape to hold my mouse cord...until I found a Razer Armadillo on ebay for just a few quid a couple of years ago.

It's a shame they're so expensive as they really do make a difference, especially when gaming or using a mouse in photoshop (no drag at all) and they don't take up any desk space, unlike that massive looking Roccat thing.

I think Steelseries used to make something similar to the Armadillo too.

edit: just noticed they've updated the armadillo (I have the old version)
