Annoying noise :(

Hi guys

Got this annoying noise, it happens about every 5 to 10 mins. It sounds like a dry bearing on a fan. Its like a high pitched whine.

It happens from cold almost straight away. The longer the pc is on, the less often it happens.

Any tests i can do, i have put my head in the case and i cant work out where its coming from

I stopped the cpu fan, well slowed it down via speed fan to a slow spin. And didn't effect the noise. And i have stopped every fan except the one is psu. And it still happens.

System is

E6000 - stock cooler
OCZ MOD EXTREME 600PSU
2GB RAM
ASROCK CONROE MOBO
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3450 Silence 256MB DDR2 DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - Retail
500gb sata WD HD

3 X 120 enermax fans
2 x 140 is it yate loon's - they were cheap

could it be capacitor squeal??

i dont know, its doing my head in now. It like a high pitched squeal or like chirpy noise

Hard drive failing perhaops?

Disconnect it and boot up to check.

Found the problem.

I think the clue was "chirping noise"

Well i have found the problem.

There is a birds nest, in the corner of the house.

The noise has been getting louder and louder. So today its been quite obvious.

But during last week, it was a quite ish chirp/whine

hahaa soo funny! damn birds wake me up every morning!

Well i moved the pc over into the corner about two weeks ago. And i noticed it after moving the pc. So assumed i had done something.

The noise is really loud today, but thinking about it when i usually go on the pc after 5pm they must be full lol
