The onboard sound detects that I've plugged a audio lead in when I havn't, this is a totally random even, somtimes I wont get the message for 3 days & other times I can get it 3 times in a hour, thing is whatever application I'm using gets minimised & I go to desktop with this annyoing message. It can even occur when the computers just sitting idle & I'm no where near it, so it's not like I'm knocking a lead.

Has anyone got any ideas how to stop the message coming up ?

I was thinking of returning the mobo back to ocUK but it seems like a lot of hassle for what it is, I might buy a onboard sound card if I cant sort it.

Make sure you're using the latest drivers from Realtek's site. Otherwise it looks like you have a faulty onboard audio chip, lead or device it's connected to.

Thanks, I'll try the drivers, if that dont sort it might get another sound card, or I could see if I could disable the message somehow because there's no problem with the actual sound it just that damm annoying pop up message.
