Annoying phone call feature!

Basically I have a samsung galaxy ace, and yesterday I got a phone call from my bank (quite an important one), and at one point it prompt me to enter a button on my keypad.

To do this I had to, click a button to enable the phone (the home button is the only one that works), then drag down the notification bar, clikc on the little Green phone icon, wait around 2 seconds... Then drag a bar from the bottom of the screen and click on keypad. **That that's right**

By this time the phone call seemed to have ended.

I know its not the end of the world, but its incredibly inconvenient, so at best I was hoping if someone know a way to make it so that when the phone is activated again (whilst in a phone call) it takes to straight to the phone call screen.

Android phones by default stay within the phone app during a call. This means that when you go to find the dialpad, it should usually be simply a case of pressing the dialpad button. It sounds like you've minimised the phone app during the call (maybe using the home button), and that's why you've had to go to the notification bar etc. etc.

Yeah, it sounds like you've pressed the home button before the proximity sensor kicked in and turned the screen back on for you, which meant that you minimised the phone app .

That's what'd happen on my Galaxy S 2 anyway, I'd assume it's basically the same on the Galaxy Ace.
