Right so every now and then my computer will just put the monitor into standby.
So tried 3 different monitors, replaced GFX Card, Motherboard and Hard Disk and it solved the problem for about 3 days when it returned.
My first though was overheating but today it did it the minute windows started. Tried it with XP, Vista and 7. No overclocking on it at all. Also run memtest with no errors.
Specs: AMD X2 4800+ (AM2), unsure of current mobo not at home atm but will check when I get home, BFG nVidia 8800 GTX, 2GB RAM, not sure what PSU either though but probably an unbranded one.
Any ideas what it could be before I throw some more money at it?
