Hey all,

I'm not a big user of word but I have need to be of late due to a new course started. I have this really annoying problem that has managed to come about on the screen:

How do i get rid of that annoying bar thing? as soon as i press enter and go down the page it moves with it and then sometimes more than one will appear - I really need to get rid of it. Ive looked in the formatting settings but cant find anything unless I'm being blind!

Thanks all :)

edit: spelt the title wrong - sorry. If a don could correct it that would be appreciated :)

Desktop-->Right Click-->Properties-->Themes--> Change and click OK

That solves your god awful theme issue, dunno about the WORD one :D

hahaha nah its a good theme apart from word having a black background - that is annoying.

Looks like a line in the actual text? Tried clicking below it and pressing backspace/delete?

tried and it doesnt work - even using 'cut doesnt' - it just moves it up one level

Copy the text you need to your clipboard and delete the page. Do this by putting your cursor at the bottom of a paragraph on a previous page and just hold down delete. When it's gone, paste the text back onto the page below.

I've corrected most of your errors. Right forum, title spelling, various textual errors. Just click on the line to highlight it and hit delete.

I'm afraid I cannot fix your godawful taste concerning your theme from here.

lol cheers Gilly. But its not as simple as highlighting and deleting it... I try to 'cut' it and it just moves it up one line which is odd.

Chris, it's an automated border-line by the looks of things so just make sure you have the cursor in front of it and hold down delete until it's gone.

Thanks guys :) I sorted it out in the end by highlighting everything and formatting it back to 'normal' in the styles and formatting toolbar thing! What a weird problem.

Cheers for all your help :)
