Annoying problem with Flash and Steam

Eugh, where do I begin?

Forever now, I've had an issue on Steam that gives me this

whenever I try and view a video through the Steam client and it happens on the Overlay too. So I click the link and it takes me here

so I click on the 'Do you have a different operating system or browser?' hyperlink and download the Win7 installation for 'other browsers' like Steam says to, yet once the installation is complete Steam still carries on with it's games. Anyone had this issue and know of a fix? Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems doing the complete opposite to what Steam suggests, and downloading the Internet Explorer version of Flash fixes the issue.

Had this before, was quite annoying, I just eventually downloaded all them, uninstalling in turn till I found the right installation.

Glad you got it fixed in the end.

It's the internet explorer version (obviously)
