I'm not really sure if this is a graphics card problem or not but thought I'd post it here anyway, but basically today, when viewing images on the net, I get a checkerboarding effect on pretty much all of them.

Thumbnailed images are fine, but when you click on them to bring them full screen thats when the problem happens. Doesn't happen with any images on my PC locally, neither does it happen in games, just with images on the net. Any suggestions to throw in the pot ?

Specs on PC

Athlon 64 X2 3800
2 Gig Ram
GFX = 2 x GeForce 6800 GT in SLI
XP Pro SP2.

Like I say could be hardware, could be software, but really not sure.

Come on admit it, you were browsing pron sites and they would only remove the chequered effect if you subscribed, right?:p

damnit! beat me to it :p :p
lol

lol no, thats not the problem, for example if I'm browsing the Windows Desktop Thread then I see it there, same as in Case Central in the Desks and Rooms Gallery.

Will give that a try, thought it might have been a problem with my internet connection, but my Laptop is fine so I can rule that out.

Well I think I've fixed it, I ran System Restore back to 2 days ago before the problem showed up and so far hasn't bothered me since :)
