Hi what do people use around here if they loose the black backing plastic for a cpu, and they need the cpu out without damaging the pins ?

black backing plastic? you mean the plastic plate that the mobo comes with when you buy it to cover the CPU socket?

i'd just put my CPU back in it's original plastic, and then into the original box... always a good idea to save boxes.

I mean the plastic backing on the back of a cpu when you buy a new cpu not the mobo.
