Annoying Problem :(

Hey folks,

Once again I come to you all seeking your infinite wisdom.

Recently while using firefox and I.e. (Urg) ive noticed that if i start streaming a video on youtube or sc2 streams etc. As soon as i try and close them (in the case of a stream), the internet stays permanently slow and terrible. It only takes a restart of the system to resolve this problem

Ive tried reinstalling firefox. Removing all flash shockwave players and have scanned my pc for any malware, spyware, viruses etc. Nothing has been found

I have bitdefender 2011 and malwarebytes and I have also disabled all of these to see if it was causing this problem and still nothing .


I am running on a Windows 7 64 Bit system. Thanks for any help anyone can provide in advance . If you need more info ill post it straight away

I've seen that you have tried a few things but can I suggest:
-Uninstalling Flash and Firefox
-Reboot
-Run reg cleaner (like CCleaner).
-Download and install the newest version of Flash and Firefox
-Try this again.

Also, how long have you had this problem? If it's only recent a system restore can help. I use Windows 7 x64 and have no problems with streaming media.

Will try the CCleaner option along with the other stuff thanks.

I wouldnt really know how long its been happening perhaps a month.

Thing is really that I havent installed anything ... the only thing i could think of is perhaps some windows updates of some sort
