Hi all. I have a forum board set up and the forum location is at

www.mysite.org/forum and in the VB settings this is listed as such!

On the site home page www.mysite.org is a 'click logo to enter' jobbie and when you hover over the logo, in the bottom left the direct is www.mysite.org/forum

GREAT!...............however, when you click it, it takes you to www.mysite.tsohost.co.uk/forum

Now, if I navigate around the forum board, search function, register, etc, the address always stays as www.mysite.tsohost.co.uk/forum/whatever...

But, if I click in the address bar and remove the '.tsohost.co.uk' part and replace it with '.org' (effectively reading www.mysite.org/forum) everything works as I want it and navigating from here, the address bar remains the same i.e. www.mysite.org/forum/faq.php (or whatever)

Basically, how or what do i need to do so that when i link from the site the address bar always shows www.mysite.org/forum and not the tsohost stuff!?

Does this effectively mean that i'm running duplicate pages!?

Thanks

Its ok folks, i've sorted it...it was a problem with Filezilla not updating the index.html file correctly.

Sorted now though ;)

Is tsohost as good as the ocreviews say? I need a new PHP host, my old ones helm panel and Microsoft based hosting and ridiculously laggy delivery of content is doing my head in. I'm working with a new agency who are great at design but have no tech knowledge and are relying on me to help out. I can't allow the first site we do to have garbage hosting! Is it cheap or vfm?

I've only ever used them for small projects but they have been exceptional. The level of customer service is second to none. I've had swift email responses at 11pm on a Sunday evening before! They've even upped my storage capacity for free when I asked to buy some more. 10/10 :D

I've only been with them for a month and had problems within minutes of opening the Pro account. I should mention that this was all my own doing and in no way tsohost. Support are always attentive and patient. If they had an affiliate program, I'd slap a banner on most of my sites!
