Annoying Screeching Sound problem

Hi has anyone experienced this
After about 5 minutes of playing some games (Crysis and Flight Sim X the main culprits) a really high pitched screeching sound is coming from the speakers, the games dont lock up so you can carry on playing but the only way to get the sound back and get rid of the screeching sound is to reboot.

Also when I quit the game to the desktop I notice that my wireless card is disabled
This only started happening a few weeks ago when I got a second 8800GT and went from 2 to 4gb of ram

Any thoughts appreciated.

Yeah i have vista and the latest drivers, gonna try the latest bios update which has an xfi compatibility fix see if that helps

Yeah reading the creative forums it appears there is an issue with nforce/xfi and sli which no one seems to want to admit too, ill see how i got on thanks

Well the Bios update hasnt made a difference, I think it may be heat as the sound card is sandwiched between a graphics card and the power supply with the psu fan blowing directly on it, unfortunately there is only one other slot I could try which is just next to it but that would obscure one of the vga cards but worth a try i suppose
