Can someone identify what this spyware is? And how to get rid of it

Hi All,

I have just built a new rig, which seems to be getting attacked from all sides even though I have a firewall and antivirus installed.

I have this SpyFalcon adware problem. Have followed the instructions to remove but still each time I reboot and go to Internet explorer I get ack to the SpyFalcon website?

Any idea how to remove it from IE?

I take it you have reset your homepage in IE?
Also try running Spybot S&D/ Ad-Aware past the machine and see if they can remove anything.

Yes, have reset IE, at least changed the default site, but it always returns. Will try above utilities.

If this persists though, you might want to take it somewhere with a dedicated anti-malware section (Castlecops/ Major Geeks)- They should be able to help you more quickly & easily.
