Built my wife a new PC for her Christmas present so she can enjoy some games without her PC stopping or crashing all the time.
We are having a bit of bother with her audio drivers, it has an Asus P8H61-I LX R2 motherboard with a VIA on board audio. We have the latest drivers installed (infact the only drivers we could find on the Asus site).
The problem she has is this;
When you click the sound controller in the system tray you get a "bing" however her PC plays this as "shbung" with slight static, all videos on youtube seem fine and she is playing the Sims3 which is also fine.......until one specific sound is played then the audio just goes to static.
Any ideas?
