I keep getting this annoying pop up from the taskbar in Windows 7:
=======================================================
[Window Title] Encrypting File System
[Main Instruction] Back up your file encryption certificate and key
[Content] Creating this backup file helps you avoid permanently losing access to your encrypted files if the original certificate and key are lost or corrupted.
[Back up now (recommended)] [Back up later] [Never back up] [Cancel]
=======================================================
I dont use file encryption as I dont store sensitive material on this PC. BitLocker is off on all drives. There are no encrypted files on my system at the moment. MSE running and I scan every download manually.
A while back I downloaded and extracted a program (droid draw) that was in .zip form. I noticed the file names were in green. I understand this means the files were encrypted? I take it this has woken up windows encryption stuff.
How can I turn this off?
Thanks
