My 12 month contract is up in July & would like to replace my K750i.

I liked the 2.0MP camera that the K750 has, the video camera was ok & the MP3 playing feature is also useful (but never had enough memory). Have SE finally sorted out the dodgy joysticks though?!!

I have no idea what is out there, so looking for a few recommendations that i can look into.

what type of phone do you want? se walkman phones are good if you want to stick with se. spvm600 just out fRom orange if u fancy a pda phone with wifi which isn't too big
 
w810i was the only suitable phone for me.. i prefer nokia, but they dont seem to have anything in the same catogory
 
I've been pretty happy with my K750, but the joystick has been playing up a little the last 6 months or so. My T610 had two joysticks replaced, just wondered if the newer SE's were ok?

Not really bothered with a PDA, main things would be good camera, MP3 player & smallish size. Oh & a couple of FULL games. My K750 came with 3 trial games, which i could never understand?!!!

I'll look at the latest SE's phones, but what about Nokia's. Haven't they got a few newish phones out?

Had my W800i about 10 months and the joystick hasnt been bad at all - but i could be the exception!

the W810i has a new system for the joypad, main joypad is now just a button with a surround for next track etc but they work as a kind of d-pad type thing. Works well.
 
I would go for the w810i

The joystick on my k750i is playing up no end and its only 6 months old
where as a mate of mine with the w800i is having probs after 3 months :eek:

Go for the w810i, all the good bits without the pish joystick :)
 
Or you could look at the Nokia N80. 3.2MP camera, WiFi and it's a smartphone so there will be lots of games to choose from.

the 3250 is rubbish. The only nokia that is good enough alternative to the w810i, which is in the same class will be the Nokia 6233. The N series are huge and very un-userfriendly
 
I still can't decide on which to go for out of these:

  • W810i
  • W850i
  • K800i

What my choice will go down to though is the price to upgrade.

I'm currently with Vodafone & my average bill is £30-35 a month.

I guess i'd get the W810i free as it's about to be replaced....don't suppose anyone knows roughly how much the W850i & K800i will be? Then again i guess it all depends on how much you spend...

Have to wait & see i suppose :)

My 18 month contract with voda finished in April so i am now able to upgrade my phone, been lookin at the K800i, how much they askin for it? One bad thing about it tho is they arent using the Carl Zeiss lens on the camera aymore which makes a hell of a difference to pic quality regardless of the 3.2mp. SE seem to have some lovely phones coming out, jus gonna have to wait till July for the new models to arrive

you are joking right?

w810i is a glorified k750i, i had a k750 and got rid two weeks later, the symbian os is brilliant and you can do everything on the n80 from proper web browsing over wifi, to mp3s to sat nav,
