Please can someone help.
Question
If interest rates are fixed at 12% per annum how much would you pay for an annuity of £8000 payable at the end of each of the following seven years?
Answer £36,513.33
I simply cannot get to this.
I am doing the following
£8,000x1/0.12(1-1/1.12 power of 7) equaling £36,510.05
What am I doing wrong. How do you calculate annuity?
Thank you for your help
