Hi al, so my son has somehow got this onto his system and Bitdefender free will remove it till next boot , the same with windows defender and when I search online the most common pages want you to download more software to remove it. So I thought to ask on here if anyone can point me in the right direction on what to do next ?

Can you run spybot search and destroy, install > update then post the findings here? There's something somewhere causing it to replicate itself on boot.

You could also run malware bytes as well to remove it. Can you also see if it's in the add/remove program list as well?
 
Hi @mrbell1984 I found out he hadn't uninstalled it (he says he didn't install so hadn't looked to uninstall) it looks like he has been on torrents and downloading pc games and these have been in <100Mb file sizes so I assume its came from there. So anyway uninstalled the programme and ran both spybot and malware bytes (haven't used these in so many years just back into windows a few months back) and they found quite a few entries so removed them all and ran each program again and nothing found, so he has been warned and many thanks for the help
