Anonymous Bank Transfers?

I'm looking to transfer some money via bank transfer, however i don't want it to show that its come from me.

Normally if i do a transfer using the online facility it comes up with my name and then the reference.

Does anyone know of a way to transfer money to a bank account anonymously, other than paying cash over the counter?
 
Your best bet is to simply transfer cash over the counter.

As above, records of bank transfers exist for a reason.
 
I don't Believe there is.
other than using someone else's bank account

I just tested transferring some money to my self, never even knew it showed the name :O I thought it just showed a transaction number or something

I'd say cash over the counter is the way to go, or get a friend to do it that the person is question doesn't know, so they'll at least be puzzled even though they'll still see a name.

I always enjoy putting references on bank transfers "ONE STOP GAY SHOP" - "SERVICES RENDERED" ... etc.

Because that I just how DAMN funny I am.
