Another 3870xt or wait around

Currently got a gecube 3870xt along with a e8400 @3.6ghz, 4gb OCZ PC-6400 ram and gigabyte p35-ds3p. Is it worth me getting another 3870xt (it will only run at 4x or something on the p35 motherboard) or wait til these new shiny things are coming out??

I can wait and only game at 1280x1024, but CoH on diretct x 10 mode kills it (average frames go from 70fps on dx9 to 30 on dx10, and I cant swivle the camera close in without it dropping below 15)

Why not just play it in DX9? I wouldn't bother buying another card since the mobo is going to cripple it anyway.

DX10 doesn't really bring anything new to the table, and i haven't seen any differences between the DX9 and DX10 versions...

IMO, just stay with DX9
