as in the title..

currently using more or less the same settings I used on my 4690k I have the vcore at 1.25 and im running it at 4.4Ghz it runs cooler than my 4690k ever did. ( it has been delided )

I ran prime last night it went up to 66c on 1 core but then dropped to around 62c and settled there.

so Im wondering.. any advice on pushing this further? what achievable?

Im on an air cooler ( Phanteks PH-TC14PE )

Iirc 1.300v is the max reccomended voltage for 24/7 usage on the 4770k. Might possibly get 4.5/6ghz from it. Temps are fine as you have a delidded chip.

Im getting 4.5 at 1.26 ive tried to get 4.6 and went up as far as 1.28 but it kept crashing. I know I could go a tad higher but not really wanting to.

it seems to run nice at 4.5 on the core and the ring at 4.4 it scores well on cinebench ( 897 ) so ill just leave it where it is.

You can go higher than 1.3 if your temps are nice and low. Hes just suggesting 1.3 so ya dont go nuts :), if it takes 1.32 for example thats absolutely fine. For everyday use its not worth using +50mv for a 100mhz increase, but i would use anything up to that.

not sure if I may need a touch more volts at 4.5 my pc will stress test for an hour yet it will crash after 20 minutes of GTA V at 4.5 1.268 but drop it to 4.4 with 1.258v and it will run it for 3 hours straight.....
