Another 4850 thread..

Im seriously considering getting 1 of these cards because my 7900gtx is feeling the pressure with cod4 now.

I play cod4 competitively at a very high standard, and i play with low settings low res and sometimes get as low as 50 fps with my current card, when in smoke/ aiming towards middle of map etc. A also have oc'd amd 6000+ and 2 gig of ocz reaper ram.

I know that the 4850 would make a lot of differance, but im not sure how much

Im looking for it to get maybe 250/333 almost constant, because that helps a lot with jumping in the game, and also means its playable when im on mp_backlot (where i get serious fps drops)

So does anyone have simlar specs and could test how much the card gets on low settings/ 1280*1024?

And dont say the card is overkill, because high fps really does matter thanks!

well ive brought it anyway now the confirm order button couldn't hold out any longer

but if anyone with similar specs can still do a check for me it would be much appreciated

250 or 333 frames per second, because the quake engine lets you jump higher for some reason
