Hi there, I'm looking to make another £550 build. Just wondering if there are any better parts I can get than my last build a few months ago. I'll need everything except for the OS, keyboard, mouse, speakers and monitor. I'm essentially just looking to get the best build possible for the budget.

Lastly the current monitor is a old VGA one which will be upgraded soon, so I'll need a HDMI to VGA converter as well.

Thanks

I've just changed a few items (such as the SSD I had put in) and I've got about another £30 to play with for the graphics card. Would a GTX 760 be better on worse than the previously mentioned card? Thanks again.

I guess I'll go with the B Grade card then. As mentioned before the current monitor is an old VGA one so I assume I'll need a HDMI to VGA converter.

I was looking to pick one up for another build, the one mentioned in your original post.

**B Grade** HIS Radeon R9 280X iPower IceQ X2 TURBO 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Can't find it anywhere on the site now though.

How about this R9 290 Windforce? Good cooler and only £10 more than the 770 b-grade and equal to the new 280X - 294mm long too so should fit in the case? A fair amount faster than the 280X too?

Did I choose the right R9 290 for the comparison? If it is and if it'll work with the build up top, I'll certainly go for it. Again the main issues would be

1. Will it work with a 550w PSU?
2. I assume that as I'll be hooking it up to a old VGA monitor to begin with that I'll need an adapter
3. The B Grade listing has it at a huge price decrease, so I'm a bit weary as to why it's that cheap.

Thanks for all your help through this. Out of the three GTX770's you listed, is there a specific one you'd choose? Also I assume that none of them would come with a VGA/DVI adapter, so I'd need to supply that on my own.
