Another 5850 while I can still get one for xfire? or wait for a while

I currently have a 5850 and am thinking about getting another to run in crossfire as I want battlefield 3 to run with no problems. I use my HDTV at full 1080p and my 22" monitor at 1680x1050 I would like to get a new monitor in the future at a higher rez and maybe play around with multiple monitors. Currently I dont have any problems with bad company 2 But have never had xfire before and am a little tempted although should I just wait as they are old tech now and see what its like?

I would say wait...as BF3 release date should be around the same as the rumoured release date of the AMD 28nm next gen graphic cards...and no need to upgrade right now if your single 5850 is not struggling with the games you currently playing.

thanks, had not heard of any new graphics cards coming out. so will keep an eye out and do some googling on these 28nm cards

I'm in the exact same position as you. I have a 5850 and I'm wondering whether to go crossfire or just get a new graphics card. I am also looking for a new monitor for some 1920x1080 resolution gaming...
