Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Full system specs

Windows 7 64bit
Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz @ 4GHz
Asus Rampage II Extreme Intel X58 (Socket 1366)
MSI Geforce 470 1280Mb GDDR5.
RAM: Corsair XMS3 6GB.
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA-II 32MB.

Had a go at Witcher 2 on High and getting real low FPS (20 to 40), thought it would be best to ask you guys to see what you think.

Best to ask before i buy.

Cheers guys and be gentle.

Did you run it before the patches? it's had several patches now and runs better than on release.

How about video card drivers? up to date? sorry, lame question I know.

Yep everything up to date.

Got the retail version, the game automatically updates, sometimes i had to go into the Witcher 2 folder and run the installer with the latest update from there.

You might need to tweak the in game settings a bit more then, depth of field can have quite a hit. What res do you play at?

In answer to original question, i'd say by looking at your spec it'll run Human Revolution well, but until it's released no one can really say for sure. You've got a very powerful system though so I reckon you'll be fine.

I mainly play at 1920x1080, plus i've heard that the Witcher 2 auto detect thing is broke so maybe i'll have another go at manual tinkering some time.

Cheers for the help.
