Another BF2 Issue

ok after many weeks trying to figure out why on earth BF2 is screen freezing i found the issue was related to my Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum set, every time i set it to hardware audio it will crash if i leave it as software it will work fine, any ways i could get around this so that i can use hardware sound, it was working fine before the new patch came out

It works fine with my ZS vanilla; could it be a conflict with the driver version you are running?

im using the driver provided with creatives auto update system, it seems strange and that its only happened since the 1.22 patch, problem is of course is that i cant use an earlier patch as i wont be able to join my clans' ranked server

what audio hardware setting are you trying to use?

Try dropping down from high to medium, or medium to low, depending on what you are using now and see if this helps.

I had intermittent issues with setting mine too high, but mine is an Audigy 2 Platinum. It won't let me set to ultra high for some reason.....

I think Ultra High only works with the X-Fi

i always set mine to high, maybe i will try lowering to medium see the difference, if its too big difference ill just put it on software high and buy an xfi
