Well it looks like i have the same problem all the other people are getting with the 7900 series.

I installed the card with no problems at all then a couple of hours after gaming it freezes with a load of artifacts on the screen.

I thought it was just a game crash, so i tried a different game and yet again about an hour of gameplay it happens again.

I would like to send my card back to overclockers and i just wanna know if this is the address to send it.

Thanks a lot fellas

I would ask for a refund and buy an X1800XT 256MB and a Zalman VF900-CU with the price difference, then again I already bought those and am uber impressed. If you want another 7900 then wait until they start fitting them with the Infineon memory instead, supposedly will fix a lot of these problems.

Im an Nvida fan boy, (even though my last 2 cards have been ATI) but even i have to admit, theres nothing to choose between the companies now, except performance in your fave games.

performance aside reliability is the first thing to look for. and nvidia just don;t have it in the 7900 series.

as Mr T would say:

"I pity the fool who buys a 7900."

By the sound of it he only just put in his pc,if so 0cUK have to take it back if it`s under 7 days.

I was planning on an SLI shuttle with 7900's until I heard about these problems ( going to get a 2407 also, so SLI or Xfire is prerequisite)

Was really looking forward to a small case for my main rig - but the GX2 arent gaurenteed to work in either shuttle so nv is out altogether

I dont much fancy any of the other small cases so I will stick with my P180 and get a Xfire master card I think , just a real pain

Agreed, the guy is entitled to a full refund if that's what he chooses. Once he goes down the warranty replacement route, the option of a refund may be gone forever since he no longer has the original card.

Get a refund & get a different card instead. BFG / XFX seem to have had the highest number of failures. I also cant believe these 7900 cards are still being sold when they are knowingly faulty. Thats unconscionable.

no official reply will be given on this since ocuk would prefer you to send it to bfg so its less hassle to ocuk to deal with. on the other hand if you do send it to ocuk they will sort it out for you.

will take a while though, sent my 7800gtx 512 to them nearly 2 week ago now... still waiting for a replacement.
Ive been getting updated be a member of their tech team who said my replacement will be shipped sometime this week, they are awaiting stock in there warehouse(in america) so as soon as they have them they will ship asap.

Oh and they are sending me a 7900GTX 512 instead.. :D
