Looking through the Box Office Mojo stats (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/studio/?view=company&view2=yearly&yr=2006&p=.htm) Buena Vista (Disney) and Sony/Columbia have been the biggest studios, in terms of money made at the box office since 2000. Fox, Universal, Paramount and Warner Brothers all do reasonably comparable amounts though.

I was talking in regards to DVD sales. I know Fox takes a lot of money from it's TV sales: 24, X-Files, Buffy and Angel are 4 that come to mind.

No more space leads to sploppier code. At the moment devs have to make sure they code is clean enough to fit on a DVD if you suddenly give them 25 or 50Gb of space they wont even bother to clean up the code. JJust well it fits so lets leave it at that attitude

Thats exactly what has happend thus far with Bluray the first gen BDs are using MPEG2, instead of VC1 which is the better codec
