Another boring help me decide thread

Seems an odd mix, two diesels, and one petrol. Out of the diesels I would have the Accord, although too many miles for my liking, out of the petrol, well the Beemer, out of the three, the Beemer cos its petrol.

Will you be putting much in the way of mileage on the car? I'd question the value in spending 7 grand on a diesel Accord with 100k, though to be fair it does seem to be (not knowing the value of that model really) suitably cheap. The iDtec will have a DPF too

Saab is a waste of time, they're nothing like as good as the competition. 325 well the SE doesn't really appeal to me but at least you're not paying through the nose for m sport trim. I'd want xenons really but what would make the biggest difference to me is a look at the actual history and receipts that come with the car.

I'd say i do about 8-10k a year.
Problem is, i know next to nothing about cars, ie what is a decent car, value for money and reliable.
The last car i bought was an Audi A4 Avant S-Line which had 120k, eml light on, both front elec windows not working, remote key non functioning plus i later found out the MAF had been disconnected, when i reconnected it the engine went into limp mode so i left it unconnected (after installing a new one which did not cure it).
My track record is not good you could say lol
I need an estate, pref diesel but not essential, i like autos but again not essential, ideally would not like to spend more than 6k but would stretch to 7k for the right vehicle.

For your mileage a diesel isn't worth it over a petrol. So out of those three, the BMW every day of the week. Perhaps have a look at some Volvos, should be some around that money now that are decent, reliable cars!

Ok thanks for replying, I had Volvo V60 D5 as a courtesy car (63 plate) and it was one of the nicest cars I've ever driven.
