(Another) Budget Gaming Rig

Hey guys,

I'm looking at getting a new system over the next few weeks, and I'm on a bit of a budget. It'll be used mostly for gaming, along with your general web browsing and what not. I'm looking at spending £500 max, anything under that would be a bonus.

I don't need the latest and great graphics card at the moment as I can upgrade it every year or so, but I would like it if the motherboard and CPU to be somewhat future proof.

There's a few things I don't need. I already have a case, monitor, keyboard/mouse and DVD drive.

Appreciate any spec you guys could suggest.

Something like this might do, the graphics card is actually pretty decent and depending on how lucky you get might find it clocks up to roughly 2900XT speeds.

this is my take, bigger 400gb hardrive 16mb cash, a lot faster cpu, but a slower gfx card. most people are hapy to hcange a gfx but tend not to be when its cpu. so that why i went this way so you can get a better gfx later down the line if needed, HOW EVER lol if you wanted vista and dx10 then my gfx card is a no go lol anyway.
