Another build check for an old man please

Well as title says, I have been waiting months for Conroe and looking at my A64 3200 and Galaxy 6800GT struggle with my Dell 2405fpw. Budget 1500 quid tops, games machine

So, I have the following spec ready to go, this will be my second build and basically I want to make sure it all works and is compatible

There is nothing worse than getting a system and finding your missing an item or something isn’t compatible so my quickfire question and observation list is…drum roll….

Will I need any 3-4 pin convertors anywhere?
Ill bung the operating system and games on the Raptor and everything else on the 'big drive'
Will the Amber fan suffice for this case cooling wise, not sure of the layout as some say it has 2 120mm fans?
Ive gone for an XT rather than an XTX, at least save a little money for little performance gain
Shall I be safe and buy a 30 quid celeron in case I have to flash the BIOS on this mobo?
The Samsung DVD-RW I have no idea about – they all seem pretty much the same and I picked it as I have a Samsung phone, any others that are better performance or reliability?
Do I need to buy some Arctic compound for the Ninja and will it fit the case?
Shall I get a Silverstone TJ03 instead of the PC7 – seems a lot of extra money for the TJ03 for little gain?

Ok, sorry for the long list but I want to get this right first time, can’t wait to see the difference from my old system, exciting days!

Don't think you need to buy the SATA cable, should come with the motherboard.

i think the SATA cable come with the mobo i had a ASUS A8R-MVP and the SATA cables came with that

I wouldn't bother with a Raptor as the new Seagate 7200.10s are nearly as fast, quieter, cooler, larger, and cheaper. Perpendicular recording does make a big difference in speed.
