Hi,

Well last night my PSU blew, a very old Type R 580w. Is this a good time to upgrade a tired old system, see sig below. I am thinking of getting the below, what PSU would you recommend? Also will my X1950XTX work okay on the Asus?

Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156)
Asus P7P55D-E Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard
G.Skill RipJaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Or do i jsut get a PSU and wait for Sandy?

It will be used for general internet browsing etc and mainly playing css and WoW
So in a nutshell go buy a system now to see a massive boost in performance over my current build?

Although i am a Intel Fan myself i would sooner pay a little more for the Intel gear
