looking to mod an old case, my plans are:

  • front mounted 120mm fan where 4 80mm are meant to go
  • enlarge a 60mm slot to take a 80mm fan
  • stick some neons in it
  • maybe cheap water cooling (not sure though)

im not sure what colour lights to go, i either want UV, Purple or Green.

if i go ...

...green then i will possibly change my side fans (ambers) with green LED ones, put a clear one on the front and another LED at the back, along with 1 pair of 12" green neons and 1 pair of 4" neons for under glow effect on the front.

...purple i may not change side fans if i do they will have to be clear, clear one on the front and back, and have 1 pair of 12" purple and 1 pair of 4" purple

...UV i will change side fans to UV and get UV front and back, obviously neons will be UV :P but only 1 pair of 12".

any thoughts or suggestions? :)

i was going to i just wanted to know what people thought of the idea and what they think would look best..

also wanted to try and find out best makers of neon tubes, obviously i need to know for green, purple and for UV and what fans would be best, for LED, for UV and for Clear. i know Backfire do some fairly nice LED fans with 77cfm @ ~29dba if i remember correctly.im prob thinking acousti for clear, not sure about UV.
 
I have always gone for Akasa brands for LED fans and Cathodes, very good quality and very bright in colours.. Hope this helps... ;) :D
