Could anyone have a quick look at this build - it's largely based on kind advice recieved on this forum, but I'd like to check I haven't messed things up:

Asus GeForce GTX 560 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £146.39

MSI P67A-GD53 Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge) ** B3 REVISION ** £109.99
- may have to get this somewhere else as currently out of stock

Antec High Current Gamer 620W Power Supply £52.99

Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9) £39.98

Cooler Master Elite 430 Windowed Case - Black £33.98
I'll probably have to get this somewhere else - but I think I can find it at a similar price

Samsung SpinPoint F1 750GB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD753LJ) £26.99

Sony Optiarc AD-5260S 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £15.98

TP-Link 150Mbps Wireless Lite N PCI Express Adapter (TL-WN781N) £11.75

Arctic Cooling Keyboard - Black £9.98

Sub Total : £373.37
Shipping : £11.25
VAT : £76.92
Total : £461.54

+ £140 I paid for a I5 2500k = £601.54

My aim is for a PC that can play games decently, and has some upgrade potential (and not too expensive).

Can you tell me if all these parts will work together? Have I missed out anything important?

Thanks all! :)

Thanks for the reply DJmartin:

Yeah, the CPU is a new retail version, so I think it *should* come with a cooler, right?

I selected the GD53 for a possible future SLI upgrade. I've read a little bit about that smart cacheing, but I don't think I quite understand what the benefits would be over simply using a SSD as a boot drive??

Good to know the parts should work together. Are there any other accessories I need to be aware of?

And I am assuming you have a mouse, OS and monitor?

Yeah, I think I can get hold of Windows 7 with a good discount.

I'm planning on using a HDMI input into my HD TV until I can afford to buy a decent monitor. I've tried this with my laptop and it works fine (it's quite a small screen size so resolution isn't too stretched). Would there by any other problems doing this?

Hi Weeble, I asked them this over the weekend, and got a reply on Monday saying they are on-order and expected this week.

Out of curiosity, have you posted your proposed build?

Thanks for the update. I imagine your information will be more accurate, as it's more up-to-date. That's unfortunate - I think I may order elsewhere, before the other components in my basket sell out or go up in price!

OK, I managed to find the motherboard and case elsewhere, so I have finally ordered everything.

Now comes the fun part when I realise I have no clue about putting a computer together :D

Hah! Cheers. I think I might be waiting on my OS (I thought it was next day delivery like my other orders, but apparently not).

Is it possible to assemble / test before installing the OS?
