Hello all
My first overclock on a C2D E6600 @ 3.0GHZ (333*9) 42*C Idle 53*C underload, though my room has been warm to past couple of days so I would expect a 3/4*C increase.
Firstly I'm happy to leave my overclock at this speed for the time being as it has decreased the small bottle neck on my GTX running @ 1440*900.
My main question is my ram timings. Do these look o.k for OCZ Gold PC6400 4GB (4x1GB)
5-5-5-15 2T Ratio 2:3 @500MHZ
Yes there is a 100MHZ increase over stock on the speed but this seems to be stable in 3D Mark 06 and 48 hours without a freeze up.
Are these good speeds or the oppersite and my ram is throttling?
Cheers

its best to run memory 1:1 with CPU, running memory faster takes it out of sync and can lead to lost data, so 800MHz 4-4-4-12 should be better
